Story

The Veena lifestyle was, quite frankly, far too mundane for Aringrimr. And that was even considering he was raised well despite being an obviously Ravan stray orphan. He always wanted more out of life than what was around him. So he left Skatay Ranges the first chance he got.He made his way to Hingashi and voraciously learned everything he could throw himself into, from artisanship to scholarly affairs- he wanted to learn it all. But little did he know, arriving in Hingashi also introduced him to what would become the surprise passion of his life: making Gil.Putting together all the skills he had learned he launched himself into entrepreneurship, starting businesses and helping others grow theirs.But this passion for gil was almost alienly one of pure fascination than of greed. He wasn't precious about his wealth and instead gained a reputation as a philanthropist. Mixing the two culminated in him founding the Crown of Lesalia, a hybrid between talent agency, artist collective, and a general excuse to give anyone work or lodgings when they needed it.

Almost contradictory, besides his reputation as an astute businessman, the other thing Aringrimr is most known for in Kugane is his generosity. Some would even describe it as excessive as he rarely hesitates to help anyone who asks.

The Crown's Proprietor

As the proprietor of the Crown of Lesalia, he has free reign on all hiring decisions as well as what clients to take. Despite being a talent agency/artist collective, it would seem as though talent isn't even particularly required to join.

Been around the block

An unexpected benefit of his race's long lifespans is that Arin is one of the most experienced businessmen in Kugane— purely because of how long he's been there. His memory is also as sharp as ever.

A Family Man

Arin is affectionately called 'Dad' by some of the members of the Crown of Lesalia, and while that nickname is often said in jest, Arin is incredibly family-oriented.Not only does he consider those in his free company a part of his found family, he is also the loving eldest brother of four other siblings, and he has to actively stop himself from acting like too much of a doting parent to everyone he cares for. (Typical eldest sibling complex.)

To use it for evil

Although just an all-around softie at heart, Arin is able to use his skills for more untoward purposes with ease. Not that he would want to, but if it was for a good enough cause, there's no telling the amount of fraud, embezzlement and forgery he could get away with. Luckily, he hasn't yet found a compelling enough reason to do so.

Arin is pretty much an open book... except on the topic of why he loses a substantial amount of money every month like clockwork. Given his mild-mannered and easy-going nature, many might have guesses as to what secret altruistic purpose the money serves. Still, very few would accurately guess that that money was going directly to Dalmascan freedom fighters to bankroll the resistance effort.
